My name is Erhomosele Happy. I am a practicing lawyer, motivational speaker, writer, blogger, publisher, philanthropist, and revolutionist.

I am deeply involved in the practice of law because I am passionate about it. I currently represent many individuals and corporate entities in my capacity as a lawyer by giving them positive legal advice and defending their rights against those who have or will violate them.

In my experience as a lawyer, I have seen a lot of people suffer because they know nothing about the law, their rights, or even how to go about seeking redress for a legal wrong done to them. For some, they have lost faith in the system.

I believe that if people other than lawyers know their rights, society will be so much better. Human rights contravention will drastically decline and respect for the Rule of Law will gain momentum. I currently organize seminars where I educate people on human and other legal rights and point them in the right direction on how to ensure those rights are protected especially in a society with no respect for people’s rights.  

In order to ensure that many people do not miss out on this opportunity to learn about their legal and other rights, I also organize online seminars and courses via my legal blog. People can now participate in all my legal seminars and have access to all the course materials by just visiting my blog.

More than anything, I seek to restore people’s faith in the legal system, spread knowledge of the law to as many people as possible, and educate them on their rights, duties and obligations under the law.

Legally Established Ways of Protecting Your Undeveloped Land from Trespassers

Recall that in an earlier post, I talked about the need for people to take proactive steps to protect their undeveloped lands and the implications of failing to do so. Does the Nigerian Constitution Contain all the Laws of Nigeria?

It is so easy for people who aren't lawyers to assume that law can be found in one book which will give answer to every legal question and that one book has to be the Constitution. Before I became a lawyer, I thought so too. Clearly, I was wrong. Many people today think the way I once thought. Many people today live with the belief that all Nigerian laws can be found in the Nigerian Constitution. Frankly sometimes, I wish they were right because it will make our job as lawyers very easy. Why People Must Proactively Protect Their Undeveloped Land

Land is debatably the most important resource on planet earth. Records exist to confirm that the greatest wars in the history of mankind were land related and millions of human lives have been lost in its defense. If land is not so much important, why then are people sacrificing their precious lives to defend it? Israel has consistently been at war with its neighbours because of land. Nigerians Should Fight For Their Rights

A lot has been said about human rights before now, particularly in Nigeria. Despite the alarmingly large number of books and articles on human rights as well as organizations, there is no doubt that human rights abuses still exist.  One would have thought that with the colossal attention given to human rights in Nigeria and the world, flagrant human rights violations should be a thing of the past.
